The Federation of Students now has a full slate of Mathematics councillors, following a by-election that took place May 25-27.

Khalil Andani and Lianchong Zhu won seats on Students' Council with 113 and 86 votes, respectively. The other candidate was Ahmed Farrakha. Turnout was extremely low, with only 245 of the 4096 eligible voters casting ballots, a turnout rate of less than six per cent.

The University of Waterloo and the Federation of Students would like to invite all students to attend a town hall session to discuss the proposed location (B2 Green space) for the nano-tech building.
