here. The official policy that makes GLOW, Womyn's Centre, Wellness Centre and WPIRG protected organizations, all of which have distinct, liberal biases.
You know, there are probably a lot of people in WPIRG who wouldn't thank you for calling them liberals. :)
If I understand correctly, Feds has authority over WPIRG only insofar as it is the official representative of the will of WPIRG's constituents (fulltime undergrads). So, while a Feds referendum may have the power to remove WPIRG's funding, neither its existence or its funding are tied to Feds policy.
The other groups you mention are Feds "services" and are all volunteer-run. How do their funding levels compare to the funding Feds supplies to any club? There are probably many examples of clubs which receive Feds funding which can be accused of having some political stance. (Explicitly political clubs funded by political parties don't count, as this funding prohibits Feds funding.)[ Parent ]
