Waterloo: David Capper, the Federation of Students’ Vice-President Administration & Finance, has resigned from his position effective Friday, February 13, 2004.
“I would like to offer my sincerest thanks to all those who have helped make my time with the Federation of Students as memorable as it has been,” said Capper. “Most importantly, I wish to express immense gratitude to Chris Edey, John Fedy, Liam McHugh-Russell and the entire Federation of Students staff for sharing in the joy and hardships of this position.”
Capper has accepted a career opportunity in his field of study, planning, from which he recently graduated.
According to Federation of Students Bylaw 1, section IX.B, in the event that a vacancy in the office of the Vice-President, Administration & Finance occurs after November 1st, “the vacancy shall be filled by the Vice-President, Internal delegating and dividing responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Executive Board.”
David Capper was elected VPAF in February 2003 and began his term of office May 1st. His term of office was to expire on April 30th, 2004.
