Lynx, lite mode
Authored by: Rob Ewaschuk on Monday, February 09 2004 @ 04:27 AM CST
Tim,

uws does have a lite mode, albeit fairly untested and undermaintained. I don't believe any of the techies use it regularly, so it doesn't get a lot of attention.

However, you should be able to switch into light mode by visiting uwstudent.org/liteswitch.php or by poking around in your user preferences.

Caveat: As you probably know, Andrew Dilts' account somehow got "stuck" in lite mode. I don't know how or why that happened, but if it happens to you, I can always manually reset it.

If you have particular things you'd like changed in lite mode, please let me know.

Cheers,
      Rob Ewaschuk
