Best of luck to whoever enters the contest, here are some ideas I was given by a WLU student
-yeah, the monochromatic thing works really well
-you pick one main colour, and then use all the blends around it, but i don't know which colour to suggest
-and they should be using their tables more effectively too
-i don't like the way every page looks the exact same either
-i also don't like the way you have to scroll left and right to read everything in their article section
-you need to spice it up a bit
-it's like they're trying to put all their content on one page... it's overwhelming
-you need some graphics too
-and with the events part, put up a calendar to make it more visual
-i know at club laurier they didn't design the forums themselves, they went somewhere else and it works soooo much better
-every story has a little paragraph about what it's about, it's too much for one page, so organize the topics into sections with only 4or5 new stories on the main page
nobody wants to read old news, and if they do, that's why it's archived[ Parent ]
