| New type of uws story: not uws news |

There's a new section on uws called not uws news. This section contains summaries of stories of interest to undergraduate and graduate UW students. Not uws news stories consist of the following parts:
- A concise headline that accurately reflects the content of the original story, with an indication of the source in brackets at the end.
- An introduction that states what the story is and its relevance to UW students, and includes the reporter and original publication.
- A concise, relevant excerpt from the article.
- A summary of the people quoted in the article.
- A link to the original article with the date of publication.
An example of a decent not-uws news story is Only English and French posters in U of T student elections [The Varsity].
Feel free to submit not uws news stories. Please log in before you submit them. You can create an account, if you don't already have one.

...are they not UWS news stories or RDC? Is this an odd way of saying you are
willing to invite discussion on stories that do not appear to meet whatever
makes it UWS news but are of interest to UW students?
