So, Prime Minister Martin has decided June 28th would be a good time for an election. This election is important and, especially because the result is very much up in the air, the student vote could make a huge difference. Thus, the Federation of Students, in partnership with the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations, will be running a campaign to raise awarenss of education issues during this federal election. In addition, we will be helping students get the information they need to get registered and assist them in getting to their polling location on election day. For all of that, though, we need volunteers.

An organizational meeting for the FEDS federal election awareness campaign will be held on Monday, May 31st at 4:30 p.m. in the SLC Multi-purpose room. We'll be putting together our action plan for the next 28 days and there will be something for everyone, whether you have just a little bit of time to spare or a lot of time to give.

Of course, there will be free food for all that come out. If you can't attend, but still want to help, don't hesitate to send me an email.
