[Feds] FEDS Launch Federal Election website

Announce -- FedsThe Federation of Students have launched their official federal election site at http://www.feds.ca/vote.

Highlighted at the moment is the local candidates debate hosted by the Federation, the GSA, and WLUSU on Monday, June 14 at noon in the SLC Great Hall. Also of note is the current voter registration drive, which continues tonight in Dana Porter library until 8:30 p.m. and tomorrow in the SLC and CPH Foyer from 11:30-3:30 and again in Village One from 4:30-7:30.

While answering questions on how to go about voting, the website also contains links to the main four parties' websites as well as to education issue-related websites such as CASA's thinkeducation.ca

Polls?
Authored by: Anonymous Voter on Thursday, June 10 2004 @ 01:57 PM CDT
Does anyone know the latest poll of who's leading in our district (nearish the university in Waterloo)? I'd like to vote NDP but if it's a close race between the Liberals and the Conservatives, I'll vote Liberal.

Yes, I know the merits of that strategy are somewhat undemocratic. Please don't jump down my throat!

Anyone know?
