| Feds budget delayed by insurance change [Feds Council] |
Contributed by: Ryan Chen-Wing on Wednesday, July 07 2004 @ 11:21 PM CDT

Completing the proposed Feds operating budget has been delayed by an unexpected increase in insurance rates and an error.
Feds VPAF Raveel Afzaal e-mailed the council e-mail list explaining the situation.
I wanted to apologize for not being able to send out the budgets early as I
would have liked too. The budget committee is dedicated towards making a
prudent budget. Our Liquor liability insurance went up more than expected
and I had not accounted for one of the employees salary. This has resulted
in further modification to the budget. I will try my level best to send the
budget out for your review by Thursday evening. Please excuse me for the
delay.

I'm glad to see that the time is being taken to get the budget out and that errors are being found before it is passed. Good work!

In the latest email to council it seems the problems have been dealt with. And only a day after the email that sparked the story.
So much for this being news...[ Parent ]
