I think its high time the guys who run this site stopped being so damned cheap and started paying for their own server and connection to the web...nothing is guaranteed, especially with technology, but doing this might help us avoid the withdrawal we all suffered when the site went down. Don't you care about your readers?!?

Alright...all joking aside...nice to see the site back up. I was worried for a while there...especially when the down time dragged on.

But for those of us who aren't CS or engineering students (in other words...not computer geeks) could you please explain what "uws even survived a slashdotting" means?
