John, do you seriously believe that it _costs_ the Federation of Students $2300 for one person (the duty manager) to unlock Fed Hall at 5:00pm, stay for 5 hours, and lock it up again at 10:00pm? No Fed Hall bartenders are required to be there, just the key person. Do you really think that this person is being _paid_ $410/hour to 'look after' Fed Hall? No.

So stop thinking that somehow the Federation of Students is 'giving' ESA $1500/week. Your money that you pay to Feds never ends up in the hands of ESA. It simply does not cost Fed Hall $2300/5hrs to open the place. And if its an 'in-kind' subsidy, then your money isn't being affected at all.
