We have rules!!!! Dear lord people... and yes... there may be a problem that some other clubs violate those rules... but explain this to me:
If a criminal steels something, but we like him a lot because he's friends with lots of people should we give him a lighter sentence than a criminal with fewer friends but who commits the same crime? No.
The same applies here. Why should exceptions be made for the ESA? They aren't any better than the rest of us. In fact, in failing to live up to their revised action plan while FedS was there it's arguable that the ESA was begging for this.
Just because they're popular on campus or have a lot of members does not exempt them from teh rules.
