Jacob, I have a hard time believing your above post. You seem to be willing to twist these events in any way so as to make the ESA/Embassy look bad. The point of my post about Laurier was that "The Embassy" (i.e. the Monday night service - clearly different from the Sunday morning "Elevation" service) did not 'originate' on the Laurier campus and then get kicked off, as the Clubs Director was quoted as saying to the Imprint. They are different events, Embassy and Elevation. It does not matter who was running them - the Embassy did not originate at Laurier.
In addition, how are you able to pass judgement on whether or not the ESA execs will ever hold any power? You are not here to observe the change in attitude that has occurred as a result of this suspension, but rather you are in a different province. As I have said repeatedly, everyone involved is making sacrifices and is working on moving forwards.
