Dan,
Embassy met on Laurier's campus in the form of Elevation. I think that this is helpful for people to know. Embassy's Monday night service may have only been at Laurier once, but their Sunday morning service was at Laurier. To say that Embassy has never met at Laurier, is not accurate.
I am not twisting events - Elevation is just the name of the service. The church is "The Embassy." It is a PAOC church. At the PAOC site there is not "Elevation"; Elevation is the name of "The Embassy"'s Sunday morning service.
I am not trying to make ESA/Embassy look bad (something I submit they have done themselves), but am trying to clarify the facts.
As for passing judgment, while my distance has certain disadvantages, I'll have you know that I am very informed. You think because ESA/Embassy people have ignored my emails and kicked me off of the Embassy site that I am uniformed? That said, I'm sure that ESA is doing its best; nevertheless I am skeptical how ESA can control Embassy. After all, the Embassy is a church whose pastor is Brandon Malo. Brandon will continue to be a head of authority, even if it is implicit.
How would you address my concern then? How will ESA control/run Embassy? Will it be in charge? Will the exec posses the power to tell Brandon, even at the last moment, that there has been changes, that he will not be speaking; instead, ESA has opted to show the hockey game....that sort of thing.
