Rob,

It is likely that Embassy's action are better classified as a posteriori -- that is, they only set up a club based on their experience. However, I would suggest that ESA was established as a club strictly to allow Embassy to engage in events on campus. So, I would say that yes, Embassy did have the intent of usurping the power of a university club, in my estimation. This may not be the case; I have yet seen anything to convince me otherwise!

Perhaps there is nothing wrong with ESA giving Brandon control. I guess I didn't articulate my fear clearly enough -- my fear is that ESA will HAVE to give Brandon control. I do not know if this is really a "choice." Do you follow what I'm saying?
