I believe that the Feds took this poll (checking Watcards at the Fed Hall doors) in the middle of midterm exams during the Summer term. Clearly during this time the number of UW students would be slim compared to Fall or Winter term during non-exam times. I don't think its valid to trust a one-time head count at the door... it needs to be averaged over a few weeks to get a fully accurate picture.
