It is obvious that this Brandon guy controls everything and probably wouldn't allow any sort of dissent. What is the mechanism of this power? Does he have dirty pictures of the exec in compromising positions? How would he stop the exec from doing something that they sincerely wanted to do? Shoot them?if Brandon's church was shut down how long do you think the ESA would last? They would shut down the following week. Or take a quick breather, figure out the best bits about themselves, and come back without him.
It is obvious that this guy uses the club as a front so he can get a cheap deal on university facilities... ..that are used by lots of students to do something they want to do.he should be made to pay the full fee. He's out to control people under the guise of religion and should be banned from campus completely. So you think The Embassy is a cult? An awful lot of people are making that implication, but nobody seems willing to use the C word ('cept me, of course. :-) )...
It's not the Kampus Krusade, people. They're not going to steal your puppy and beat your bicycle. Can anyone provide any non-speculatory reason to believe that Brandon wields inappropriate power over the ESA? Like preying on weak lonely lost first year students? Or threatening anyone (physically, socially, financially, legally) who doesn't agree? Because for fucks sakes if that's going on, shut it down and kick him the fuck off campus. But if it ain't, have some tolerance. I know it's hard to believe, but not all Christians are evil.
