target != all right to kill

"He then stated that any Israeli over the age of 18 is a legitimate target"

Any combatant is a legitimate target for opposition force in a war...
but doesn't make it all right to kill...

German soldiers were legitimate targets for French resistance force in WW2 (the whole arguement was based on an analogy of French resistance in WW2 in teh Coren show), does not make it all right to kill Germans..

Dr. Elmasry's arguement was that anyone participates in war are not totally innocent. He backs up his argument with the fact that Israel has a draft thus every Israeli over 18 is a part of war... Whether this statement is valid or not is his personal opinion, and I believe is protected by freedom of speech. My point is that he did not promote violence, hate or racism in any form through his words.
