One could say that diaspora Jews, by account of the fact that they still live in the diaspora, implicitly reject zionism as a political ideology they believe in. This does not mean they reject the existence of the state of Israel, but they do not believe that they should move to ISrael as the Zionist ideology calls for. There is in fact often tension when Israeli zionists call on Diaspora Jews to migrate.
I think you're trying to play with words. Jews aren't emigrating en masse, and Israel isn't their primary and overriding concern in life, but most Jews are quite supportive of Israel. I'm not sure why you're going to such great lengths to make it seem like that's not the case.[ Parent ]
