The reason I asked that was that his post came off as a pre-prepared press release of some sort, rather than something he just typed up only to post here.
It probably was sent out when he resigned in protest (correct me if I'm wrong here Colan), he is the person referred to in the line:
"WPIRG's Board Of Directors unanimously overruled its sole Jewish member and proceeded, in spite of heavy protest, to fund and to promote the event. " and if memory serves he resigned in protest over it.[ Parent ]
