Presumably those who pay their WPIRG fee wish WPIRG to exist

You know as well as I do that that presumtion isn't valid...there are many student that don't know what WPIRG is and that they are even paying for it. Ideally everyone would be aware of what they are implicitly supporting, but that just isn't true.

Not saying the person you're replying to is right.
