Fed Hall manages to open another night each week, and this is referred to as a downhill turn? Recent, though? Do aquick Imprint search for stories on Fed Hall. To hear the tone of the bulk of coverage, Fed Hall's been steadily going downhill since the late '80s.
It's always a "recent downhill turn" rather than just a shitty bar because students tend to contextualize happenings on campus through their experience on campus, which, for most people other than me & RCW, only lasts 4 or 5 years.
To imply that a staff member's attitiude is responsible simply ignores the huge structural changes that have hit the bar industry since Fed was opened, and the demographic changes that have hit UW (and that goes well beyond the number of underage frosh).
I don't know Nick. I couldn't pick him out of a police lineup. If he is such an ass, I hope there's someone running against him who can say so, without looking like an ever bigger one.[ Parent ]
