Firstly, you don't know Lawrence so don't make assumptions about him based on this forum. Just because the guy has faith in something other than himself (unlike me), doesn't mean the guy is a fundamentalist freak who's gonna turn UW into a Jesus Convention.
Lawrence is about as moderate an individual as I know. If he was a biblethumping monkey who forced his beliefs down people's throats, I for one would not endorse that. He will do a fine job but if he messes up we can always tar and feather him at the end of the term. Man, I miss the good old days of tarring and feathering people...but I digress.
Also, it's the WomYn's Centre, not the Women's centre. Females, worldwide, have fought long and hard to get the letter 'Y' thrown in there name. Please do not denigrate their cause by referring to the organization as the Women's centre.
