I don't really support WPIRG, but I'm voting no, simply because I think the Yes campaign is extremely underhanded and dirty. There are posters on campus that basically only say
www.wpirg.com
vote yes
I think they honestly hope to confuse people into voting yes. If I didn't know about the different sides I would consider a poster like that in favour of WPIRG. But it isn't. They say they are just trying to get students heard, but I don't think that is true at all.
As for uwstudent.org closing, that is pretty sad news. Thanks to everybody that put time and effort into the site during its time. I usually found it good escape from doing school work. I would volunteer to help, but I don't really have the time, and I don't see how empty promises of volunteering would help the site.[ Parent ]
