| Erick,
Brandon Sweet is not involved in some conspiracy to maintain WPIRG's
funding. I believe him to be an upstanding person of high personal integrity.
Perhaps the referendum committee has made mistakes during the
referendum, but those mistakes should not be attributed to malice on the
part of Brandon Sweet.
You clearly do not understand the difference between WPIRG (a
corporation without share capital with its own members and funding) and
other student organizations on campus. Understanding the issues involved
would allow you to argue your case better.
I'm not interested in arguing about the scope of WPIRG's impact;
however, I think that it is patently obvious that it does have an impact on at
least some students.
Before you dismiss me as some kind of Feds referendum supporter,
check the uws
archives for stories on
the last Feds-run referendum, which I complained extensively about. --- join the uws writers' list! http://uwstudent.org/mailman/listinfo/uws-writers [ Parent ]
