The Philippines is a distinctly appropriate country for creating a program involving modern communication technologies because of its location, language (English), high literacy rate and emerging IT sector.

So what you're saying is... Philippinos can be trained to be code monkeys, and as such, they'll provide competition against Indian code monkeys, resulting in even better deals for evil corporate America, which as we all know outsources much of its software development and customer support :P
