Bit of an extreme comparison

Finally, I can't help but contrast your approach to the one described in this NY Times article. It paints a rather different picture, and to be honest, I'm more inclined to its perception of reality than yours.

Well, I think it is possible to be skeptical of the particular conclusions David appears to be drawing without going to quite the level of support for laissez-faire capitalism that Thomas Friedman supports.
