1. Because lots of parents forced their kids to do CS so they can brag about their kids. Kids hated CS and flunked.

3. Because kids are younger (i.e. more immature now) and not as smart due to 4 years of HS vs. 5

5. Yes. No, the difficulty is decreasing. Yes, as always. Maybe.

6. I think they made it pretty clear why... They want to drop the attrition rate. And it's pretty clear why Arch. moved to Cambridge -> To paraphrase the old cliche.. "If you give UW money, they will come..."
