| Two new Feds councillors after byelection |

The Federation of Students now has a full slate of Mathematics councillors, following a by-election that took place May 25-27.
Khalil Andani and Lianchong Zhu won seats on Students' Council with 113 and 86 votes, respectively. The other candidate was Ahmed Farrakha. Turnout was extremely low, with only 245 of the 4096 eligible voters casting ballots, a turnout rate of less than six per cent.
Under Feds bylaws, half of the seats available on Students' Council for faculties in which the majority of students are in a co-op program, rounding down, must be held over to the Spring term.

On Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 2:00 PM, John Tory, the leader of the Ontario PC Party, will address University of Waterloo students and all those who choose to attend in the Great Hall of the Student Life Centre. This will be an open event and a great way to meet Mr. Tory. After his speech, John Tory will be available for questions and answers from the audience.
John Tory will outline his party's plans for Ontario as well as how youth can get involved in politics.

There hasn't been a new story in about 1.5 months. I guess
the recruitment drive failed after all. I really think
it's time to shut this site down.
