I as well as anyone know how hard it is to get money out of the pockets of students. You can invite them to a not-for-profit conference where they'll get information people will spend hundreds for. Subsidize it to no end, and ask them to pay just $30, and they'll still try to haggle with you.
Indeed, this is just a hobby and while I'm not going into debt running the site, it does cost me clams out of my pocket. Any revenue I do get (which i don't think I will) IS going to go back into the site.
