Alienating students? Does it exclude anyone? I guess you have to look at it
with a sense of humor and the fact it is a students blog about student life at
UW. I think if you wrap it in with all the other student blogs you find some
balance.
...its funny to some, offending to others, not official. Is there no place at UW
for a sense of humor? Follow some threads on this place over the years and I
don't think you will see anything that 'alienates' students more (especially if
you go with the 'cause (someone) to become unsympathetic or hostile
definition).
...actually uw.general can alienate a lot of people, Feds elections seem to
alienate people, the new home page design, etc... None of it is intentional. It
just happens.
Guess you have to ask is the tone of SLC.com intended to cause offense? I
don't think so.[ Parent ]
