Postponed exams from Thursday to be written tonight
While the University of Waterloo is closed today due to the power emergency,
exams that were to be written last night have been rescheduled to tonight.

here. A committee of Students' Council is recommending against the implementation of online strikable fees. The committee, which first met in mid-January and is chaired by Feds President Brenda Koprowski, produced a nine-page report about incidental fees. The report contains five general recommendations and four appendices.

here. Feds have said that the main issue in the bars shutdown is "contracting out," which is prohibited by Liquor Licence Act regulations. It is not clear, however, if the Feds-UW relationship was contracting out.

here. Fed Hall and the Bomber have been closed for almost six weeks, and lawyers on both sides are negotiating by correspondence. According to the Feds, as of 18 February 2003, the bar closures have cost the organization $181,925 in revenue. Approximately 10 non-student and 15 student events have been cancelled.

Imprint members elected directors for 2003-2004, but did not pass policy changes at the organization's annual general meeting on Friday. Andrew Dilts was elected President and Tim Mollison, Neal Moogk-Soulis, Michelle Titus and Mike Kerrigan were elected to the other four director/officer positions.

here. Waterloo City Council will consider a one-year moratorium on new lodging houses. This would mean that no houses could receive new licenses for a year following the ban's approval.
